Founded in 1998, Townsend Design specializes in millwork, furniture, and lighting. The studio creates custom pieces and produces in house designed products that combine meticulous craftsmanship with extensive knowledge of the latest design and fabrication technology, using a broad range of materials, including wood, metal, glass, and plastics. Patrick Townsend and team create thoughtful, innovative solutions for the industry's top architects, interior designers, and private clients. Working in the studio that previously housed a light bulb factory in Long Island City, Queens, the team is adept at translating initial concepts into highly crafted pieces during each phase through delivery and installation.
