Impact-resistant glass is a special type of glass that is used to create greater safety in the event of possible damage. Impact-resistant glass can be made in several varieties: laminated or tempered glass. Laminated impact-resistant glass consists of two or more layers of ordinary glass material, which are laminated together by polymer films. If one of the layers is destroyed, the remaining one continues to keep the structure intact with a help of bonding film.
